About the Class
This ladies’ yoga session comprises of short sequences taught in a step-by-step manner with counter poses. Each movement is repeated a set number of times in rhythm with the breath to allow the body to gently get used to it.
The appropriate breathing that will be instructed enhances the benefits of each posture. Moving with the breath in this traditional yoga practice not only releases tension in the body but calms the mind and enhances one’s ability to focus. The session will end in relaxation as we listen to the gentle vibrations of the singing bowl.
This session will be taught without music so there is a consistent soft focus on the synchronized sounds of our breath.
Open to all, beginners and seasoned practitioners that are looking for a light and consistent practice.
